Section Five :(Ⅲ)2.Grinding Equipment

2.Continuous pulping equipment

Continuous pulping is the development direction of pulping equipment. Compared with intermittent pulping machines, its advantages are: high pulping efficiency, low energy consumption, small equipment size, small floor space, facilitating high concentration, specialization, and centralized automatic control, etc. During the efficient pulping process, the adaptability of Polyester Forming Fabric also provides auxiliary support for continuous production. With the development of pulping technology, various types of continuous pulping equipment have emerged, which are introduced as follows:

(1) Disc mill

The disc mill, also known as the circular disc pulping machine, is abbreviated as disc mill. It is one of the most common pulping equipment. The disc mill is small in size, light in weight, occupies little floor space, has a simple structure, is convenient for disassembly and operation, has uniform pulping quality, good stability, high production efficiency, low electricity consumption per unit output, and can save 25% to 30% electricity compared with the traditional unidirectional flow cylindrical pulping machine. In actual production, the pulping material processed by the disc mill needs to be combined with the appropriate Polyester Forming Fabric for shaping to ensure uniform distribution of the pulping material and improve the subsequent paper formation quality. In recent years, the structure of the disc mill has been continuously improved, new types have emerged, and it has developed towards large-scale, high concentration, specialized, high efficiency, and automated directions. With the change of types and the improvement of the feeding device, the application scope of the disc mill has been continuously expanded. It can be used for the pulping of various pulping materials and various paper types, and can also be used to process semi-chemical pulp, wood chip wood pulp, and chemical mechanical pulp, etc. In the process of treating different pulping materials, the selection of Polyester Forming Fabric also needs to be adjusted according to the characteristics of the pulping material. Therefore, the disc mill has become a pulping and shaping equipment with dual functions.

The model of the disc mill is indicated by the diameter of the disc mill blade. The disc mills currently used in China are mainly specified in millimeters and have the following main specifications: 300, 350, 380, 450, 500, 600, 660, 720, 800, 900, 1100, 1250; and in inches, the main specifications are: 12in, 14in, 16in, 18in, 20in, 22in, 24in, 26in, 30in, 34in, 36in, 42in, 48in, 52in. It can perform defoaming, pulping, and fine pulping, and can also be used for waste paper treatment. The tooth shape of the disc mill blade is diversified, and the concentration is suitable for the working range of low-concentration pulp pumps, which is convenient for workshop layout and pipeline transportation, and has become the main pulping equipment of papermaking enterprises. It is worth noting that the stability of the pulping effect of the disc mill will also directly affect the service life and shaping effect of Polyester Forming Fabric. Depending on the selection of different tooth shapes of the disc mill blades, it can achieve different functions such as cutting, defoaming, splitting fibers, sweeping, and crushing, and can be used for the production of various cultural papers, household papers, paperboard, and various industrial papers. Different paper types require different specifications and performance of Polyester Forming Fabric.
